As an off-topic side note, I have been putting my money in my 401K and spreading it equally between four offered funds. Finally looked at their prospectus today and the expense ratio differences were huge. Chose to move all future contributions to the index fund with the lowest expense ratio which is about 2% less than the highest expense ratio fund. Over a 30-yr period, the difference will be huge.


There are a few funds out there that would be worth the higher ratio...

VERY few.

And if such a fund changes managers, all bets are off.
