The small fingered team at ifixit purchased a dismantled an iPhone 5.

The full report lists all the components and the methods of getting at them see: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/iPhone-5-Teardown/10525/3

They kindly show:
Qualcomm MDM9615M LTE modem a 28 nm LTE (FDD and TDD), HSPA+, EV-DO Rev B, TD-SCMA modem
Qualcomm RTR8600 multi-band/mode RF transceiver. The RTR8600 is paired alongside the MDM9615 to support various bands, including 5 UMTS bands, and over 5 LTE and 4 EDGE bands

Very happy with the iPhone 5 so far. Even if we don't have LTE in the UK yet...It is still mighty fast on wi-fi and the camera rocks.

Hey, I know you are a Fanboy, but please:

(Snip)

"Forget all that, though - the Lumia 920 could well trump the lot. Using its advanced floating lens system, the Lumia 920's PureView-powered camera delivers top-of-the-range image stabilisation. Nokia claims this allows the Lumia 920 to capture five to ten times more light than its rivals, as it can compensate better for lower shutter speeds.

Yeah, the Camera Rocks OK,,,,,,,, LOL...

"Nokia claims." Nokia claims lots of things, not all of them true -- as usual.

See previous post on the Nokia fake camera ad.

Hey oroughy,,,,

"Nokia claims." Nokia claims lots of things, not all of them true -- as usual."

Yes, that was an unfortunate Marketing/Slickies blunder, no one was trying deceive anyone!!!

Here is a pretty good and fair Camera/Pictures comparisons for iPhone 5's camera against the iPhone 4S, the top Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X, and Nokia's preposterously high-resolution, 41MP 808 PureView, and compared to high-quality Canon S100, by gizmodo:

And, that ain't no Marketing Hoopla,,,

Missed one!

<<Qualcomm MDM9615M LTE modem a 28 nm LTE (FDD and TDD), HSPA+, EV-DO Rev B, TD-SCMA modem
Qualcomm RTR8600 multi-band/mode RF transceiver...>>

I5 also uses the Qualcomm 8018 PMIC (RF power mgmt IC).

That makes it a hat trick for QCOM.
