As far as I'm concerned, fuel consumption has nothing to do with how well a car is screwed together at the plant. The greater question is: what kind of mindless profligate would buy a Hummer then be surprised when it only gives 11 mpg?I think the problem is that there is no milage posted on the Hummer. The thing is so heavy that they are not required to rate fuel efficiency. Some dealers say it gets 8-10, GM says 10-12. I imagine it could go lower than that if you have a heavy foot.Still, it definitely takes a mental midget to make such a complaint.-Ortman
