As far as the parachute idea, I do have a military reserve chute I would be willing to donate, but it is white, not the colorful one that was in a link that someone had posted. If the school is interested in it let me know. It has been "packed" for a number of years so I'll need to "pop-it" to see what kind of condition it is in.

I was active in skydiving when I was in college. I passed it on to my brother when he was skydiving, and he returned it about five years ago. Neither one of us needed to use it, so that says alot.

Because of it's age, I don't think I would want to depend on it for my "last resort" if I was still jumping. Might as well let the kids have fun with it. It will need to be modified, since the pack and risers are still attached.

This would be awesome!!! Plain Vanilla is just as much fun as a rainbow!

The one they have at my kids school is plain vanilla and the kids still love it!
