As for cost, it's insane. It's not a cure. It's an improvement, on average, from 49% rate of hospitalization in a yr to 36%. They don't actually comment on lifespan even in secondary outcomes,

But I'm sure it's made enough of a wave to get approved. The number needed to improve quality of life is 4- 1 in 4 doesn't get hospitalized- which is actually similar to Advair (but comparing apples to oranges to some extent.)
