As for the Nuke field goes, best to just concentrate on the here and now, get the obstacles handled as they come.
Then as you get more info,and more insight, postulate your plan of action.
As you get more exposure to the jobs you can get a feel for which ones you belong in. It wil click and you will knwo when the time is right.
Use your resources at school and watch learn from those that have been there, that's about all I can tell you.
