As I investigate RFID & ZBRA, I'm wondering where is the money in this business, and to whom does it matter who sets the standards?

If the money is in the labels and it doesn't matter to ZBRA which standards get put in place, maybe a printer company will make out well. I'm still investigating, but it could be that the printer and labels can be adjusted to any standard, so the printer companies will benefit in the RFID world regardless of what standard gets set. But if the labels don't have the profitability, and they have to decide which standard to follow and therefore buy-in to that standard, then maybe a RFID printer/label company isn't such a great investment.

Just a novice's 2 cents here.
