As I understand it, the argument is that states like Wyoming are passing "shoot on sight" laws, rather than simple self-defense laws. This will push wolves right back onto the list anyway. Why not just protect them up-front until certain states can demonstrate reasonable management ability?Predators like that are necessary for a healthy ecosystem. It's more than just the wolves, it's the whole of the environment.1poorguy
