Ask the hospital about Hill-Burton funds.
You may be eligible. These are funds that most hospitals get when
being constructed. In return for that public money they must extend
free care to certain qualified people. This is not advertised. Pretty much all hospitals have a plaque somewhere in an inconspicuous place that says the hospital participates.
The bills to the doctors are a different matter. Each group may have its own policies. Usually the ones with whom you have an ongoing relationship will be more patient than those you never met--radiologists, for example, who interpret tests but don't know you at all.
Good luck! Chris
