At age 60, if you are average you will live another 28 years - that mean half the people will live longer!

If the average inflation is 2.5% in 30 years a dollar will be worth $0.468

The average inflation over the last 60 years has been 3.0%. That will make a dollar worth $0.401 in 30 years.

Worrying about inflation at the start is very important -- it is darn hard to do much about inflation 20 years down the road of life.
