At first I thought this thread was a question about shares in Swansons, or maybe Tyson etc. Then I read it.I'd throw the dead veggies into another soup I'd be making, with lots of leftovers. Mum called that "Windsor Soup" ( you know, after the family that lives in Buckingham Palace.)..made from every leftover during the week, eaten on Thursday night,( different taste each time,) new groceries on Fridays. I'm curious about the Matzoh balls, MEK. Must be doing something for next Monday. When I fish out the veggies from my soup ( in progress) I'll send you a thought. And by the way, chicken feet help a chicken stock enormously. Not sure where you can buy them in your city as I remember it,...but I've got at least 6 in the current chicken soup as I write. They create the jelly of a rich broth.Ho hum...back to the nursing hat, not the cooking one.
