At this stage of the game, my portfolio is clearly red. While over the year, I've somehow managed to outperform the market (and reduced my equity exposure to about 13% of total worth a while back), I still feel like someone's punched me in the nose (real hard). Over 1/2 of my total losses for the year are from an untimely bet on Vanguards Precious Metal fund. (I may lighten up on it - open to suggestions here).

I'm going to hold my portfolio as is through the trough. That said, I expect that hte market still has a substantial possability of going down by 17-24% before it bottoms out.

If it drops much further, I expect that I'll be bottom fishing for "the good stuff". At this stage of the game, I'm over 50% in cash and much of the rest in bonds.
