AT&T has systems to deal with SPAM text - you certainly can block specific numbers. I don't know the details, because we took the nuclear option with regard to texts. If you ask AT&T they will just shut them off -- No can send. No can receive. And those who send you texts will get no indication you have not received.


That's what I did. No way I'm paying for text messages.
And if I have something to say to someone I will either send them an email or call them on the phone.
