Edina-based ATK (NYSE: ATK - News) said it has been awarded a preliminary $10 million contract by USEC Inc.'s American Centrifuge program to produce about 12,000 rotor tubes over four years. The tubes are used in a gas centrifuge process the ultimately produces enriched uranium fuel. That fuel is then used run nuclear power plants.
