My wife was driving and got rear ended. Both the other driver and my wife are insured in MN, but the accident occurred in SD. The other driver's insurance covered repairs of course but they are denying my diminished value claim by saying it does not meet criteria for SD. I have two questions. What is the criteria to qualify for diminished value in SD? Also, are they correct that SD law is all that matters in this?
