Here is my current insurance coverage:

Two adult drivers
I have to check and see if we receive insurance "discounts" (i.e., air bag, good credit, alarm, multi-car, multi-policy, etc.)

I was recently married and added to my DH's policy in January.

DH car => 95 Honda Accord (kbb online says worth $2540-$3090)
my car => 01 Honda Accord (kbb online says worth $12705)
extra car => 94 Chevy Corsica (kbb online says woth $1080-$1460)

I just added the third car due to my daily work commute of 70 miles round trip. I didn't want to add so many miles to my 01 Honda. My dad gave me the Chevy, so it was a good deal. :-)

Coverage:
Bodily injury each person/each occurrence
100,000/300,000 THIS LOOKS HIGH TO ME.

Property damage liability $ limits (each occurrence) 50,000

Underinsured motorist bodily injury $ limits each person/each occurrence
100,000/300,000 THIS LOOKS HIGH TO ME.

Underinsured motorist property damage $ limit each occurrence
25,000

Medical payments $ limit each person
2,000

Collision deductible each occurrence
deductible => 100 for Hondas
no collision for Chevy

Comprehensive deductible
deductible = 0 for each vehicle? I KNOW THAT I NEED TO RAISE THIS TO EITHER $250 or $500

Towing
50 per breakdown. SHOULDN'T HAVING AAA COVER THIS SO THAT I CAN DROP THIS?

Increased limits transportation expenses coverage
WHAT IS THIS? SHOULDN'T HAVING AAA COVER THIS SO THAT I CAN DROP THIS?

???????? QUESTIONS ???????

So, how does this insurance scenario look? How can I lower my costs?

I know that collision covers property damage to the car due to hitting a deer, hail damage, or a rock hitting the car/windshield, etc. And I know that liability covers damage to other person's car that gets damaged. I am just not sure what comprehensive insurance is, or what is covers.

Thanks,
diat
