Sorry if this isn't the right forum to post this question.

I own some shares of bac-h (bank of america preferred shares series h) and have been unable to find out the ex-dividend date.

http://quantumonline.com/search.cfm?tickersymbol=BAC-H&sopt=...

gives a link to a marketwatch page but the ex-div info is not shown.

Can anyone recommend a website with the necessary information?

Thanks.

$2.05 $25.00
$25.00 5/01/2013

5/22/08 2/1, 5/1, 8/1 & 11/1

This is directly from Quantum's sight, but your right about the ex-div dates not being given from the link they give, however it does state the payout date if it helps any assuming you already hold shares. One suggestion would be to email investor services at BofA.

thanks for the update. I dont understand why the share price fell to 24. Its not as if they announced suspension of preferreds' dividends...

It's partly just that banks and other financial stocks go up and down as a group, very frequently. Now one in particular will get more action with company-specific information being released.

So BAC gets beat up whenever there's bad info. for the financial sector.
AND the market is nervous about the Countrywide acquisiton.
AND you may be giving the market undue credit for being totally logical.

Wow drop to only $24? That's pretty good. You should look at other preferreds. Very few are better than $24.
