We are looking at building a home in a new development in the Orlando area. It is a Community Development District, defined by the developer as,

" independent special purpose unit of local government created in February 2000 by the City of Orlando to plan, construct, acquire, operate and/or maintain various systems and facilities."

I'd like to learn more about CDDs (more than is in the developer's brochure. I'd also like to learn more about the developer "Terrabrook". A search on google shows me the different planned communities across the country that Terrabrook has developed, but I'm more interested in their performance...the kind of information that one might find about a business vendor they were considering if they went to the local Better Business Bureau...any insights from my fellow wiser fools would be appreciated.--Jake
