The best defense against against misinformation is to think for yourself. Same with intentional disinformation. In fact it is the same with any piece of input.

If something worries you then consider going back to whatever is available in the way of data and performing your own analysis.

If you don't know how ask for help. There are many good folks in the MF community willing to answer questions about how. If you are not sure what to check I would recommend reading or rereading the MF investing guidelines. After all that's one of the advantages of being a part of this community.

If you don't have time and just want advice then consider joining one of the professional services offered for that purpose.

But please please don't fall victim to stock market sensationalism for your investing. Or abdicate your right to make your own informed decisions.
