I posted to the credit board without much response, so I will try here. My husband and I have several collection accounts that are four years old. Our FICO's are from 600-640. We have our credit cards from the last four years paid off, and we have two car loans which are in good standing. We recently moved with his new job, and the company will pay for up to $3000 of closing costs (using Citibank or Wells Fargo within the next few months). We have enough to put %10 on a modest home with a little left over to pay remaing closing costs. Is there any hope that we will get a home loan?
