Obama is going to get everything he wants. Increased taxes and tons of new spending, with spending cuts "to come later." Only...he now says that the spending cuts will have to balanced against new tax increases on the wealthy in order to produce a balanced plan. Bottom line: Tax increases now, then more tax increases later and the possibility of minimal spending. Look, the new taxes being proposed won't impact me one bit, so my only complaint is the fact there aren't any real spending cuts. But now, to hear Obama plainly say that he's going to demand more tax increases in order to agree to spending cuts down the road is just plain rediculous. How could anyone with a brain have voted for this POS.
