According to the Fool, it is my five year aniversary. Wow. I actually had been reading the Fool longer than that, it was five years ago that I finally registered to post messages.

Things change. If you are just beginning to read the boards, keep reading and start posting. There is much to learn here. When I got here, I was paying off my cc debt, but it wasn't going down so fast. I finally learned that I couldy make headway if I was still using the card. I went on a cash diet and it worked. I've paid no CC debt for almost four years.

I've also bought a house. I choose a three year mortgage and, with my wife, have nearly finished that. (I don't reccommend this anymore, but I thought it was a good idea, 3 years ago.) We owe two more payments. With smart decisions on our part, we will pay no interest in 2006.
