BANG. A pound of body fat is what, about 3000 calories? If you want to lose 1 pound in one week you gotta burn up 3000 more calories than you take in, one way or anotherAnd for those of you who don't want to keep track of calories and how many did I burn up this week, just remember, it's also a matter of pushing yourself away from the table before you are full. Pass on the second helpings and go for a walk instead. Take a walk, take a bike ride, but get up and get out. If your weight has remained stable for years but you just can't seem to lose that extra, put in a little more time on the Nordic Track or at the gym.But do get up and move! Heck! Everyone get up right now and just stretch! Come on! DO IT! You know you want too! :)Stretch your hands as far over your head as you can! Clasp your hands together and slowly pull them them to one side. Have your left hand pull your right hand over just far enough that you can feel it. Repeat to the other side. Now roll your shoulders and work it out. Relax. See? That wasn't so hard. Remember when you are putting in those long stretches at the computer trying to catch up on everything to get up and move at least every hour or so. Get up, walk around the house. If you have a flight of stairs, go up and down them at least once. But move! Get your blood flowing and keep your mind sharp!DeanndaOkay, more opinion than you wanted, LOL, sorry ;)
