Hi, I read back through some of this board but could not find a discussion of the pitfalls of Capital Gains when selling a house or condo. Can anyone provide me with the issues to be aware of? My situation: co-op owner for over 2 years, selling at a profit, and want to wait at least 1 year (maybe 2 years) before buying a new home. What will my capital gains exposure be and how can I minimize it?? Thanks in advance.
