I have another Roth IRA question. Sorry to bother everyone about this, but I have just read through the material on the Motley IRA sections and it is still not clear to me. I just setup a Roth IRA in my name with my wife as the primary beneficiary. We file taxes jointly. According to the regulations, I understand that we each can contribute $2,000 a year to a Roth IRA, for a total of $4,000 a year. My question is, do I have to open another Roth account in her name to contribute her $2K, or can we contribute $4k to the account in my name? It seems unfoolish to have to open two accounts, since I will probably be managing the accounts in the same fashion, it just duplicates everything, including transaction costs. Thanks for your help,Coult69
