I work for this hotel chain, and am presently looking to buy some stock. With the recent sale of the brewing company there is all sorts of speculation about who we will be taking over, when and for how much. The most recent information I have heard from the corporate office in Atlanta is that the Grand Hyatt chain is looking the most likely candidates and not Starwoods as original speculation suggested. This would add over a 100 hotels to the N American sector, and that, coupled with the 50 Inter*Continental hotels hope to buy in the next 5 years, should increase this companies standing quite considerably.

Please comment, and let me know what you think the possible implications to stock price may be.
