Phone: 847-952-9164

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1992 to help provide hope for more todays and tomorrows for those children facing childhood cancer. Bear Necessities is dedicating its time and energies to raising funds to encourage, supplement and initiate research in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Bear necessities looks to meet the immediate needs for items or services to benefit pediatric patients or pediatric programs within pediatric cancer facilities.

Raising awareness of the desperate needs of pediatric cancer is one of the biggest obstacles that Bear Necessities is trying to overcome. Bear Necessities regularly stages lectures, coordinates encounters with medical research organizations and encourages publicity to help spread the word about pediatric cancer and the work that is needed to meet patients needs.

Having been through the the difficult times of pediatric cancer with my youngest son, Michael I know that support means a great deal. It is encouraging to see an organization such as Bear Necessities assisting childhood cancer patients with their specialized needs.
