(because some are reportedly not so good). In my experience, "member benefits" are rarely better than if you buy them on your own, whether that be insurance from AARP or car rental deals from your alumni association.I find it a little disappointing to learn that AARP is no longer "unbiased" in their opinion with regard to seniors. They now have a monetary incentive to push for legislation that helps their business models that have nothing to do with membership dues or advocacy.They are becoming the NEA of seniors.
