Contrary to your Strawman argument most Conservatives like the government, just a more limited one than Liberals.---Good. So again my question: what do you do about folks who, for whatever reason, are unable to take care of themselves? They are broke, sick, unable or unwilling - what do you do? The answer from your side seems to be "Let them die". The simply isn't an acceptable response as far as I am concerned. ---It's a having government vs not having any government debate, it's about how much the government should do. Nobody is advocating for zero government.---Just like no one is advocating for "free stuff" and removing motivation to better oneself. We ARE advocatiing for taking care of people so they are not sick or starving, and so they at least have an opportunity to better themselves. If that takes giving them something, then so be it. Why would you not?
