Biden fell on his own sword last night, and might have run it through Obama first. He certainly didn't make himself out to be a serious public official, and he behaved like the stereotypical political hatchet man/attack dog with his junior high school bullying tactics. He might have fired up his base, but he cannot have made a good impression on many undecided voters looking for a serious approach to the issues, and if Obama loses by a few electoral votes and some of Romney's states are close wins, and he goes looking for people to blame, I'd not be shocked if he asks Biden, "Joe, why in God's name did you have to be such an a--hole in that debate?" That clown act of Biden's has to have cost his boss more votes than it gained him.
