I know some people on here probably aren't HUGE fans...but did anyone listen to Howard Stern this morning? One of the guys who calls in regularly, Big Black, talked about his personal finances a bit...

He is $60,000 in the hole in CC debt.

Pays his rent with credit card money (deposits cash advances to bank account then writes check to landlord).

Pays for his groceries with CC.

Pays his CREDIT CARD BILLS with other credit cards!!!

He just pays the minimum each month and as soon as he hits the limit, he opens up a new card and pays off theother ones min. payments with it plus all living expenses.

Interest alone(based on $60,000 he stated at an 18% rate)is $900 a month!

Makes you wonder....what happens if he gets hit by a truck today?

In other news...
I deserve a big old pat on the back this week. I was talking last week about how I never have cash when I get to the weekend because I can't stick to my alotted amount. Well, it's Friday and I've only spent $20 in cash this week...I've got $60 for the weekend!!!! Woohooo! Thank god for spaghetti and salad. I've got to take my SO out for celebration tonight of her getting a new position with Cisco...hopefully the $60 will cover it...
