Bill sez:
So, do any of you Fools know where I can get subjective info on this type of community living, or are any of you willing to opine? I think I know the answer to the last part of that question, so I'll stay tuned..

DW and I spent 2+ years at Spruce Creek Preserve. Our primary interest was in golf but I would be glad to provide you with whatever info I could about the area, living in an 'Active Adult' community and of course the Central FL (Ocala) area.

I would offer this advice about Del Webb. Get EVERYTHING in writing! and be aware that they are now owned by Pulte Homes. If you are a golfer, I would recommend looking at Lake Diamond, Ocala Palms, Ocala CC and others before Spruce Creek CC.
