Birget, Carol, and Trini, aging gracefully (well, maybe not so gracefully) on The Motley Fool boards. May we all still be here in a decade! By then we'll be truly bionic, as we replace knees, cataracts, and other worn old parts. I'm well on my way to that, with 4 year old knees and "perfect" new eyesight. Right now I'm saving up for a head transplant!

Trini

Don’t do the head transplant. I did and now I have this inordinate desire for beer and whatever is raunchy. I celebrated my last birthday (73) as sober as a judge, singing psalms, a credit to the community feeding orphans and looking after widows but, now, a reprobate more interested in snuggling up to a neat scotch while listening to Vivaldi. It’s what you get getting a cheap head once owned by a roué.

Best wishes for the hip replacement. Set your goal to leap tall buildings.
