I enjoy it too! If it weren't for my intense fear that my house would fall into foreclosure, I would pay my mortgage by check, but I much prefer auto-debit for that.

This is something I have been considering as well. Before we refinanced, our mortgage was held by our local bank where we do our banking. So we typically ran over and hand-delivered the mortgage payment on the 1st of the month.

Now that we have refinanced and I am needing to mail a payment, I am really thinking of setting this up to auto-debit. It would make it much easier. And no matter what my DW tries to tell me, I consider a payment delivered after the 1st to be late even though we technically have until the 15th of the month. Call me anal but if the due date was the 15th, they would say so on my payment coupon. :-)
