The CDN. bank BNS - TSX just announced its initiation of a 2% discount on the share price of all re-invested dividends within its DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Plan). Starting with the dividends payable on October 29, 2008 for owners of Record Date October 7, 2008.

Every little bit helps.
