I find it very interesting to look at the day's discussion so far. Let
me preface this by saying I wasn't here when DB was, although his name
sounds familiar, so I've probably seen him on other fool boards. Also,
I will be checking out the yahoo board, although I typically don't
go to yahoo, as the "noise" as someone put it, is rather rampant there,
as opposed to SOME boards at the fool. But all the "this board has gone
down hill", "I rarely visit anymore" talk is stupid. If you rarely visit, then why is it that as soon as "db" is brought up, you all come
out of the woodwork? I have no idea why he left, or who or what led up
to it, but no value? Just picking other people's brains on what candidates they're presently looking at is extremely beneficial. To be
honest, probably 3/4 of the stocks brought up here, I look at, and wouldn't personally buy, for one reason or another, but what value can
you place on having lots of people looking for possible candidates, instead of just you yourself looking? I don't believe anyone should leave unless they want to(nic), however, if you've left, I see no
VALUE (after all, that's what we all want in a board, isn't it?) in
coming back to bicker or run down the board(which is what many are
doing all of a sudden) If you don't like it, why make a lot of
NOISE for those who do to sort through? You've become the provider
of what it is that you supposedly hated in the first place(NOISE)

my take and my take only,
cubby

if you don't like it,
don't go away mad,
just go away
