I'm gaining some on-the-fly knowledge and experience in Bond Funds, and have noticed something which makes me curious.

I understand that the price of bonds is greatly affected by interest rates and by the performance of the Stock Market.

However, over an 18 month period, I think I see Bond fund Dividends going down as Share prices go up, and vice versa. Is this to be expected? Can you explain? (The funds I've tracked are HADBX, STVSX, and VSGBX.)
