People mentioned awhile ago, donating books to your local schools. But it was (I think) pointed out that some of these books may not be appropriate for school age children. One thing you can do, and I have, is take the books to a used book store and donated the credit to the local Boys and Girls club or to a school. I did this the last time I got rid of my not-so-good to read books and got quite a credit for the Boys and Girls club.

It's also tax deductable.

Have a great day.
