There seems to be a trend among young people to use "borrow" where "loan" is appropriate. Especially on Judge Judy, some kid is always saying, "I borrowed him the money." Good grief. (Judge Judy always corrects them, usually numerous times.)

Oh, Judge Judy tells them how the cow ate the cabbage. Also, when they say 'you know what I'm sayin' - she'll say, 'no, I don't know what you're saying' Gotta love her.
