Both Concerta and Adderall XR are pretty good meds. Concerta has a wierd but very effective delivery mechanism compared with other extended release medications (such as Adderall XR). Adderall is a different medication (mixed amphetamine) that may or may not trigger peripheral side effects that the Concerta is currently causing. Its worth a shot though. What Soccerdad mentioned I have to agree with. Vyvanse is a great medication that uses pure d-amphetamine which tends to cause less peripheral side effects that Adderall does. It is a great medication. Another option to consider from the methylphenidate side (which you currently use) is Focalin XR.
