Both Concerta and Adderall XR are pretty good meds.

Concerta has a wierd but very effective delivery mechanism compared with other extended release medications (such as Adderall XR).

Adderall is a different medication (mixed amphetamine) that may or may not trigger peripheral side effects that the Concerta is currently causing. Its worth a shot though.

What Soccerdad mentioned I have to agree with. Vyvanse is a great medication that uses pure d-amphetamine which tends to cause less peripheral side effects that Adderall does. It is a great medication.

Another option to consider from the methylphenidate side (which you currently use) is Focalin XR. Focalin is the 'cleaner' form of methylphenidate so it gives all the benefits but without the side effects. Here are some links for you.

Good Luck
