Bowl of Quaker Oats with some wheat germ, craisins, and a little brown sugar.

I cook old-fashioned rolled oats in unsweetened, unflavored almond milk, add dried cranberries or freshly grated apple, sometimes a sprinkle of cinnamon, cardamom or nutmeg, and stir in a heaping spoonful each of ground golden flaxseed and hemp seed (I avoid wheat these days--yeah, I miss Kretchmer toasted wheat germ!). With fruit in the oatmeal, I find no need of further sweetening.
