Boy, does that sound familiar!

I did a similar stupidity on an OTC stock that I really had no business buying in the first place. I bought it at $10, sold it at $17, then watched in horror as it shot up to $36, at which point I bought back in. Naturally, it immediately tanked and today is somewhere around $2 (I sold down there, finally, just to quit looking at it). Ouch!

The moral (for me) is (finally) obvious -- don't try to outguess the market.
