Boy, putnid....you are Good Value!!I credit Spinning with actually getting on a real bike. I took my first class (the aerobics on a bike type that Spinning has descended into over the years)over 10 years ago now. I'm primarily a runner and I'd been off my feet (almost literally) for close to 3 years from plantar fasciitis. I'd managed to start walking "briskly" with no pain thanks to my daughter who bought me an HRM, training log and a month intro gymm membership for Christmas 2011. Never belonged to a gym before and group ex. looked a bit foolish to me but, I'd reached a bit of a fitness ceiling with the treadmill walking, didn't yet have the confidence to start running and spied a Spinning class. The rest is history. When I had to change class times, I landed in a group of fairly commited cycling "trainees" (not all of them outdoor cyclists, mind) and I caught the biking bug. Didn't get my first real bike till I'd turned 50!! So I'm still in the process of learning basic skills and confidence at an age when I ought to know better. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!Been doing the teaching thing for close to 7 (or maybe it's 8) years now. Still having a lot of fun at it!Vivienne
