I have a Roth ira with some cash that I would like to invest in various stocks. My custodian for the roth says I can have them establish an account ( it would be in their name for the benefit of me) with the broker of my choice. This would eliminate transfer charges and transfer delays, I've been told.
I haven't heard of this before, what can anyone tell me about this type of arrangement?
