Hi Been lurking for a long time, and am about to start doing some of my own investing(hopefully all eventually). I've been reviewing brokers and have a few questions. I'm going to roll my old retirement account (from a previous Job total $21,000), start a new IRA, and start investing a bit of my own after tax income( MDP). I wouldn't mind using the broker as a checking account as well. So far I'm very interested in Charles Schwab and Muriel Siebert.

Any thoughts are appreciated,
