I think losing all that money back in 2000 put the fear of the market-demons in me. :)As I said, I lost a little bit because I continued to hold some of my funds from May through July and into August and September of last year.In July I began unloading them -- and on October 6th I unloaded the last fund I was clinging to like an old-friend teddy bear. :) On that date I was 100% cash. I stayed in cash and CDs until mid-March of this year when I began getting back into the market. So I've made up some of my losses - but not all of them.Very sorry to hear that you had losses recently.It's been a confusing (and rather shocking) market.AM
