BTW, many of these respected international statesman, like Arafat -- a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, remember -- are not only anti-American but anti-freedom, anti-free press, and anti-economic liberty. They're more than happy to receive $$$$$ from the USA to support their corrupt regimes. There commitment to the freedoms you love start and stop with the barrel of a gun.

So who is more culpable? The briber or the bribee? It's really
rich to heap derision on Araat while not mentioning the fact that
the Beacon of Freedom props up dictatorships in Egypt, Jordan,
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, etc. They propped up the Shah of
Iran until the people finally overthrew him, and then those liberty
loving Americans propped up good old Sadam Hussein while he was
gassing the Iranians as well as his own people.

Arafat corrupt and anti-freedom? Maybe. Having your people live
thirty-five years under a brutal military occupation doesn't produce
a nice disposition. But he's a piker compared to the U.S.
