Buffett has always been strangely irrational where taxes are concerned.

It's not irrational if he gets compensated.

It is a fact that he invested in green companies last December.

It is also a fact that Obama has spent billions of taxpayer dollars supporting green companies, several of which have gone bankrupt or had their assets sold off.

It is also a fact that Obama has used taxpayer dollars to enrich his political friends.

It is also a fact that Buffett's comments about taxing the rich, made a few months after his green company investments, helped Obama.

It is also a fact that Buffett is good at math and doesn't often make careless errors.

It is also a fact that Buffett has always taken the 'long view' of putting himself in position to take advantage of opportunities when they arise.

It is also a fact that people often wonder what he is doing in the short term, only to realize that his long-term strategy and execution of that strategy are unmatched.

Those are the facts; draw your own conclusions. I have.
