Buffett is surely passing on all his wisdom and secrets to others. He is very open about his reasoning in his investment decisions. There seems to be Buffett’s mysterious ability to see what is in plain sight, the ability to "see" the opportunity. You also need the conviction, to believe in what you saw, the ability to commit the resources, the steadiness to stay with the decision through ridicule, all these things with an innate sense of optimism and pragmatism. There will never be another Buffett he is a man of his times but there will be other investing “geniuses”. Whether or not they end up at Berkshire remains to be seen. There is a Buffett premium, the stock will take a hit when he dies, but he has set Berkshire up pretty well to survive and thrive after his demise.
